Hi, I'm Rebecca.
I started running in 2010, and running around the block was the hardest thing I’d ever done. I ran my first 5k soon after, and my first half marathon a few months after that. I was hooked. Eight years later, I’ve completed 5 marathons, 40+ half marathons and many 10ks, 5ks, relays and multi-race weekend challenges, and a handful of trail races. My half marathon time has dropped by over an hour and my 5k time has dropped by over 10 minutes. 8 years ago I couldn’t run a single mile. I now run regularly every week and believe that if I can make running a lifestyle, anyone can. This is something YOU can do!
I became an RRCA Certified Running Coach in March 2018 because I get so excited to support and help my friends and fellow runners achieve their goals. I am also a coach with Nittany Track and Field Youth Club and Assistant Race Director of the Nittany Valley Half Marathon, both in State College, Pennsylvania.
